  • 4. SATCOM Applications
    • Promote development communication involving agencies In the areas of education, health, social welfare, etc.
    • Provide interactive distance education and training to teachers, students, village functionaries, anganwadi workers, panchayat level representatives, healthcare workers
    • Promote establishment of satellite based networks for Information exchanges, networking of technical / knowledge based institution, etc
  • 5. e-Governance Applications
    • Jharkhand is fortunately not susceptible to many natural disasters. However, the cause for concern in Jharkhand is drought, Its Monitoring, Management and Mitigation. RS & GIS will effectively contribute in identifying drought affected villages.
